¿HOW DID WE GET HERE?
HISTORICAL LOCAL CHURCH RECORDS

Mennonite Church rented a small 49 square meters locale.

Baptist Group integrated by Baptists who lived in Tres Cantos and that would congregate later on at pastor Robert Cryder's house.

On Novembrer 11, 1993 the Baptist Church in Tres Cantos is formally constituted, integrated by 15 members that would congregate in the same locale that had previously belonged to the Mennonite Church (of 49 m2).

From 1993 to 1997 there is very little membership growth.

From 1997 to 1999 we congregated in a second rented locale, not much bigger than the previous one (68 m2). In this church we had a 35 m2 for Worship and two rooms for classes of 5 m2 and 3 m2 respectively, two bathrooms and a small back-room.

Last summer, the owner decided to sell the locale. The whole church began to pray and while trying to find a new place, if possible, a little bigger than the former one. A locale that would supply the Sunday School needs, with a bigger room for worship as more people were coming and the church had started growing.

The Lord answered our prayers and we found a new locale to rent, larger than the other (130 m2 that costs 130.000.- pesetas per month, -the double of what we paid before). Since we moved there fourteen persons have been baptized.

We haven't had a baptistery in any of the three locals.
