Iglesia en Tres Cantos

	Our Church is the only Baptist Church in Tres Cantos, a city that belongs to the county of Madrid (Spain's capital).
	Although, formally, Catholic Religion is not institutionally very powerful, the truth is that in Spain, the Catholic Church exerts an important influence upon different social and religious classes (ranks).
	There have been very few years of tolerance from the XVI century up to now.
	But thank God, nowadays, Spain is going through a period of democratic freedom that has allowed the church to experience a slow but continuous growth.
	The Catholic Church has very powerful human and economic resources, while the evangelicals (except for some very few cases) still have to congregate in old stores, garages, etc.
	The Baptist Church needs to be socially adapted in Spain to introduce the Gospel under the suitable conditions, to avoid any kind of cultural shock that could imply Spaniards refusal to enter inside an evangelical church because the locale "doesn't seem to be a church at all".
	Of course, we are all aware that God will carry out his work by means of the Sacred Spirit anyway. And "those to be saved" will be added each day to His Church in spite of all the barriers risen by Man.
	We also know that "The God who made the world an everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth. He does not live in buildings made by hands". (Acts 17:24)
	If we lived elsewhere, we would not consider a building as of such importance, but we have to consider the kind of city we live in (one of the newest cities in Europe), and that forces us to consider the most effective ways to preach the Gospel.
