During this new stage, considering the progressive growth and being aware of the impossibility to obtain a locale with the suitable measures for the present necessities, the Baptist Church requested the Tres Cantos City Council the grant of a land to build an appropriate church for these needs.

There were very little possibilities to obtain a positive answer to our request but the whole church started praying and the Lord answered.

THE 18-01-2001 THE CITY COUNCIL GIVES US A 1.620 SQUARE METERS LAND, but on condition: WE MUST BUILD IN A FIVE YEARS LEGAL TERM : Otherwise the land must be returned to the City Council.

PARTICIPATING IN THE CITY. Preaching the Lord's Word (concerts, brochure distribution, personal sharing, poster campaigns, visiting interested people, gathering food, social help for needy people, evangelistic breakfasts, etc.)

SOCIAL PERCEPTION. The idea that the city has about us is quite positive.

MINISTRY. We count with different gifts and ministries. Some have musical gifts, one belongs to the international Gideon's who distribute new testaments at hotels and schools in the city together with other brothers coming from Madrid. Another is a Social worker. Other are teachers, counselors.

PLURAL NATIONALITIES. There are Spanish, Germans, North Americans, Ecuadorians, British, Brazilians, Rumanians, Chileans, Peruvians….
